About

The Complexe sportif Longueuil made its mark from the moment it was first established in 1974: it was the first tennis club in Canada to offer 17 indoor courts to amateur players.

Over the years, the Complexe sportif Longueuil has evolved to meet the changing and increasing needs of an active population. In 1985, the facilities were modernized and we became a high-quality, multi-sports centre, with the addition of badminton, squash, racquetball and wallyball courts, and an indoor rink.

Motivated by the belief that sports should be accessible to everyone, the centre reinvented itself in 2003 and introduced a new approach to the sports complex by eliminating mandatory membership fees. Sports lovers now have access to the facilities and many sports activities offered by the centre at a nominal cost.

In addition, we have significantly upgraded the quality of our sports centre facilities over the years. New Decoturf playing surfaces have now been installed in all of our tennis courts. These exceptional surfaces have been selected for use at the world’s most prestigious tennis events, including at the Olympic Games. Badminton players are not to be left out … our badminton courts have been outfitted with new Yonex professional playing surfaces. As for the rink, the refrigeration system used for the ice surface uses the latest in technology and is eco-friendly. The hockey change rooms have all been renovated, and the water supply to the showers is now equipped with water temperature controllers. The dining room has been completely redecorated and high-definition flat screen displays have been installed for viewing sports events.

It is therefore with both pride and pleasure that the Complexe sportif Longueuil and its team invite you to enjoy the quality facilities and personalized services we have been offering our loyal and new customers for more than 49 years!
